A brief history:
NetConnect cc started trading in South Africa in 1994. During the course of 2002, it came to our attention that a company called Millennium Desktop Services, operating out of Cape Town, were trading under the name "NetConnect" and using the domain name "netconnect.co.za". On the advice of legal counsel in 2005, NetConnect cc applied for, and in 2008 was awarded various trademarks in the name of NetConnect cc. Once these trademarks were obtained, we sought arbitration with regards to the domain name: "netconnect.co.za". On Monday the 9th of November 2009, the arbitrator reached a decision and NetConnect cc was awarded the domain name "netconnect.co.za". The transfer of the domain from Millennium Desktop Services will be complete at 30th November 2009.
